The BassModel: "Delgado Bass" This model is made of Mahogany on the top, sides and back with maple binding and center strip. The fingerboard is Padauk and the neck is Mahogany. It is available in fretless or with frets. This model on the website is fretless. It is an Acoustic bass, Hollow body, about 2” in depth and very light weight with a 34” scale.The pick-ups are custom and made by Aero Instruments for this bass; Aero Pickup Description - The pickup is an Aero size single coil pickup, 4-5/8"L x 0.825"W. These pickups are manufactured using the same construction as the Aero JB4 Type 1 pickup, which is considered an industry standard for a JB pickup. Aero pickups have a frequency response broader than that of the instrument. They accurately convert the mechanical vibration of the instrument into electrical signals, i.e., the sound of the acoustic instrument is reflected in the electrical signal.It has two volume controls and one tone control.
